It appears Publix #1582, 135 Westchester Drive, High Point, North Carolina 27262-7836, locating at the southwest corner of Westchester Drive and North Main Street in the city of High Point in Guilford County, North Carolina, is official. Publix has not officially announced the store yet on its "Publix Super Markets Locations in North Carolina" page.

That's some good news to see Publix expanding further into the Triad market. Though I know it was only a matter of time when they came to Winston-Salem. It's good to have yet another option in town.

I have not heard anything on Publix in Greensboro lately. I would not be surprised if it has been scouting locations.

Publix #1582 is listed as "Publix at Westchester Square" on Publix's "Our New Division" page. It would be the 35th officially announced store in North Carolina.

I do not know if Publix has ceased updating its "Publix Super Markets Locations in North Carolina" page.

Looks like the Publix is nearing completion and also Wendy's seized the opportunity to move across the street on the same side as Publix.

Publix #1582 is nearing completion indeed at Westchester Square. Publix Pharmacy #1582's pharmacy permit was issued by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy last week. An August opening should be realistic.
