I am very confused about moving to Greenboro. I heard lots of wonderful things about it but whats with North, south , east, west???
What's going on with the Fedex Hub? Where is it going to impact the most?
I am coming down there over the Christmas break and would like some input on which area is the best to go in. I met someone who lives off of young mills road. But is that considered south? I don't want to insult anyone.
They suggested a new development going up in that area called Gramercy Park West.
Did anyone ever hear of it? Is it west?
Please, I would appreciate any information you can give me on the area, as I am coming from Suffern, New York (about 45 min. upstate from Manhatten) and it's gonna be a scary new life. I just don't want to make a mistake.
Help!!!

Gramercy Park West is a new development in SE Greensboro. NW is the best area to look into, IMO. From what I can tell from one newspaper article the noise from the planes at the Fed Ex Hub is affecting primarily those south of the airport who are in the flightpath. You would need to look up Young's Mill Road (google it) but I think it's SE of Greensboro. Also you can use the forum search feature at the top of the screen to look up past threads about Greensboro. There are quite a few.

Best wishes!

Cassie
