"We don't want to do Florida, too humid in the summer" I found this comment interesting because Florida does not have a lock on humidity all to itself. The Triad area does get quite humid during the summer season. Even now days in the mountains.

I just wanted to reply back on how humid it gets here in-case it might be impacted by a health issue. Also, in other posts, people have moved back to where they came from and this is one reason they say for the move back.

If you are interested in some acres, there acreage for sell off Belews Creek Road and GoodWill Baptist Road in Belews Creek. Pretty much country, but will be growing in the next couple of years.

Wow I'm with the person who says High Point is ghetto. It's a dirty nasty homeless, drug infested city for the most part. there are a few nicer parts but they are closely surrounded by the worst ghettos i've ever seen. I've lived here my entire life... You should check out Jamestown it's a little town right in between Greensboro and High Point. Not sure how much longer it will be nice though.. High Point is closing in fast.

Big D,

High Point is nice and just like any city some sections are more appealing to people then others. I live in Greensboro and after living all over the southeast from Florida to Charleston, SC, Charlotte, NC, Asheville, NC and more I have settled in Greensboro. Believe me the traffic is nothing compared to the larger metro areas. There are always streets around that to. High Point is smaller then Greensboro but, both are part of the larger demographic area deemed the Triad (Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point).
