I have been renting an aptt. with a friend of mine for about a year now in Guildford College area.
Lately, I have been thinking of buying a 3 BR house and move in with a couple of friends. I am trying to create an investment opportunity here, where hopefully my mortgage would be paid by the 2 rooms I rent out. (possibly a little income too)
I hope to sell the house within 5 years. My budget is about $200k.

The questions I have are -
*What are the good areas are in GSO area? I want to be close as possible to I40 and 68N since I work there.

*How is Jamestown? I found its a small community with good schools. Is that right?

*Are there other areas I could look into with the criterias I have?

*What is the general trend of rate of appreciation? In 5 years, typically, how much can I expect a 200k house to be worth?

Would really appreciate if I could some input.
Thanks,
KJ
