I am looking for a family physician in the Triad area who also delivers babies. Before we moved here, our previous family doctor delivered our first son, so there surely must be a similar physician around here somewhere. However, the two hospitals I've called for a referral haven't called me back, and I really need to find one, ASAP.

Thanks for any leads you can give me...

Lyndhurst GYN is phenomenal. They have delivered a lot of my grandchildren. They are in Winston by the hospital.

Great question! We are probably moving to GBO and I will be looking for an OBGYN referral, a place to have the baby. Any recommendations on birthing places? Doctors? Hospitals? We tried to have a natural birth the first time around - got through 2.5 days au natural'e - but needed a C-section after all. I'd like to try for a VBAC and am looking for someone who is willing to discuss it. Thanks for any info!

I don't know of any in the area, but I know WS best, GSO or HP might have one. I think most fp stopped delivering because of the cost of malpractice insurance.
