With the new Chick-fil-A that's going over there next to the mall and this round one hopefully it ignites a delveloping trend in and around the mall. Maybe people won't be so scare to go over there then.
Wfmy posted a story about this on their Facebook page and I'd estimate 90% of the comments were sarcastic remarks about crime. I really hope this place is successful. It looks like a great addition to the mall and city, but they'll have to prioritize safety and security. All it takes is 1 incident to reinforce people's perception (real or imagined) that the mall is "unsafe."
I wonder why crime in and around downtown Greensboro and friendly center isn't blown up like crime around four seasons? There's way more crime around downtown Greensboro then there is at 4 seasons and people never hear about crime at friendly for some reason but that doesn't stop people from going down there.

I dont know. There is just something about malls perception wise. I dont think Four Seasons is going down hill but this bowling/entertainment facility is part of what will help redefine the mall as less people shop at brick and mortar stores. We are seeing this around the country and in larger cities they are even including apartments.
