I have read many posts some are not current to 2017...I understand the area of Raleigh Durham Chapel Hill Wakeforest, Cary, Apex, Faquan Varney is a very expansive area. I am a healthcare provider with many different Healthcare facilities to work at (Nurse). We area a family with 2 teenagers with mild form of aspergers (highly intelligent) moving to the area. Native New Englanders, presently live in WA state. We will be visiting soon, and I will be coming out first.
I ask that this forum be keep as honest and current as possible. Here are are questions.

1. Looking for a house rental under 1800 within a family orient place with diversity no gated communities, no high income areas just a nice middle income neighborhood.
2. Mid size town say under 50000. Commute under 30 minutes in the morning shifts start at 7 or 8am
3. Our son is working towards his first pilots license.
4. Our daughter loves to walk in downtowns where there are shops and towns have a true sense of community, parks to walk, swim, etc.
5. Decent shopping, variety of grocery stores
6. Fair amount of places to eat, prefer to support the local community by dining and shopping at them tho we do like a really good mall, museums, historical and of course trains
7. We are two small dogs
8. Hubby will wait to find work once we get there (Environmental Tech, Warehouse Supervisor)

Can you give input...
Thanks in advance

You will get better feedback if you post in the Triangle sub-forum. You have mistakenly posted in the Triad sub-forum.

Triangle = Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, etc.

Triad = Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point, etc.

The OP has posted the same basic message in about six forums.
I don't think they have the first notion of where they want to be or maybe even why.

Can you imagine auto correct trying to "correct" Fuquay-Varina?

Thanks did you really feel compelled to respond to my questions? We were looking for input not a terse comment, and I did post to multiple areas since this is an exceptionally important decision our family has to make, I would have appreciated a positive reply..and know I dont know how to use this since I am new. Guidance...now that would have been awesome.

The triangle is a nice place very expensive but nice. If you must move there I'd move to the Durham side because it's more reasonable.

Hi Barba! The reason people are being crabby is because this is a sub forum dedicated to the Piedmont Triad, a totally different area of the state. So your post is like someone going on the Providence, RI forum and asking for details about living in Boston. (Though the Triad and the Triangle are farther apart than Providence and Boston.)

We could probably offer some advice, but most of it won't be first-hand, and the folks in the Raleigh-Durham forum are far better equipped to answer you.
