Kind of light/hard to read, but this is a site plan for the proposed dog park in High Point.

I don't see any seating, or a spot a pot, or water features or nearly enough 'waste stations'.
Then you have the issue of size/area allocated to large dogs.
Tell them to keep trying.

Here is a street view of the area (the park would be by the creek on the left):

Not to sound so negative, but I wonder how the neighbors feel about this since there are houses very close by. There's a quiet park there and all of a sudden hoards of barking, yapping, pooping, and possibly aggressive dogs. Not that there aren't dogs in parks now, but designating a dog park is going to concentrate those issues.

I know there would be some rules and management that could deal with these issues, but still, it could be a nightmare to those close neighbors if not handled well.

And that's just the dogs.

Dog park is open on Parris, as of today. Free city dog registration for the next year, as well. Registration allows you to use the dog park because it proves that the dog is up-to-date with their rabies vaccination.
