You hit the nail on the head.

It seems like all indications point to the Greensboro-Randolph megasite because no other site in NC or Alabama has seen the kind of activity we have seen there. However its not a done deal until Toyota/Mazda makes the announcement. We have had the rug pulled from up under us before.

When is the announcement supposed to take place?

By early 2018 and the plant is expected to be operational by 2021.

Amazingly enough, it now looks like Moore is on his way to a victory. Will be interesting to see what happens with that, as well as Toyota/Mazda's decision. Either way they go, I'm sure they won't touch the issue of his election (or not) with a 10 foot pole.

Regardless of what the polls say at any point, I fully expect a Moore victory.

Let me just say that I don't think I've ever been so thrilled to have been so wrong before in my life!

Not to be a troll here, but how to do you know our North Alabama TVA-certified megasite hasn't seen activity? Being that I live less than five miles from it...I will respectfully disagree. We are all excited around these parts about landing the plant.
