Exactly. An expansion that will create a whopping 31 new jobs...yeah, that has Toyota-Mazda written all over it.

There is also a Chinese tire manufacturer to employ 800 going to the Kingsboro Megasite in Tarboro/Rocky Mount:

Edgecombe County economic development heats up with over 900 new jobs planned :: WRAL.com

That site was also in the running for Toyota/Mazda. Could be that site is the leader...

Agreed. The Toyota/Mazda plant may very well locate to NC. And this development doesn't hurt.... but as far as helping it's really a nothing-burger.

Y’all reading too much into it. BOCAR is coming to Huntsville (Tier 1 auto parts supplier) and bringing 300 jobs. They are a Toyota supplier and the site is extremely close to the megasite. Just google it.

By the way, they’ve been out on the Huntsville megasite drilling and talking to local farmers. Just google that, too.

While I'm highly doubtful this will influence Toyota/Mazda's decision (though it couldn't hurt ), I'll leave this here for anyone interested:

Since the decision is scheduled for first quarter 2018, I guess a decision could come any day...or sometime within the next three months.
