People have mentioned that the best schools are in NW Greensboro. Could anyone tell me the names of the best schools and some names of towns/neighborhoods that feed into these schools? It's hard to research areas without that information, so any info would be really appreciated. Thank you.

you must mean Oak Ridge, Summerfield, and Stokesdale that feed into Northwest Guilford. Part of Summerfield feeds the new Northern High School that just opened in January.

Good luck!

Good northwest elementary schools: Colfax, Pierce/Pearce (can't remember the spelling), Oak Ridge, Summerfield, Stokesdale.

Northwest Guilford Middle and Northwest Guilford High are the middle and high schools. There's also the new Northern High, which has already been mentioned.

Thanks. Do you think that the schools in Lewisville/Clemmons are better than in NW Greensboro? They certainly seem better on paper. Our friend lives in Lewisville and she's very happy there....
