Where can I find good solid front porch rocking chairs for a good price in Winston-Salem (excluding Cracker Barrel)? Finished or unfinished.
Thanks |

We bought ours at Lowes. You can buy them at Home Depot, Walmart, Sears, Costco's and Sams Club. Garden Ridge has them also. They all run about the same price and are pretty much made the same.

A chair company in Asheboro makes the original Kennedy rocker. They have a factory store on Salisbury St, a little over an hour drive for you if you take 64 through Lexington. I forget the name of the company, but just google for it and you'll find it. Good luck.

One other place you might try, I don't know what they cost there (can't imagine they'd be cheaper than lowe's, etc) but might be worth a shot is the Harley Davidson Dealer on Business 40 between W-S and Kernersville. I drive by there all the time and they have a ton around the front of the store in different colors, might we worth it?

Hmmm I don't know of any Harley Dealers that will sell their Rocking Chairs they are mostly out front for people to sit in when they visit the store. So I doubt you will be able to buy them thier unless that store sells them and if they do your gonna pay more for them there since they would probably have the harley davidson logo on them. But you can try.
We only paid 40 something a piece for our rocking chairs at lowes (bought 4 of them) and have had them for 2 years, and they have never broken or chipped as of yet. They were made pretty sturdy. Last edited by wolfeyes; 03-21-2008 at 07:21 AM. |
