Hello Everyone!

I was wondering if you can share thoughts about best mortgage lenders in W-S area?
Criteria may include: Best interest rates, low processing fee and other overheads, honest disclosures, no hidden costs, reputation and customer care. Specifically, how you feel about BB&T vs Allegacy vs Fairway?

Thank you in advance for your time and valuable inputs.

RN

I've had several mortgages with BB&T and had excellent experiences.

We've had two mortgages with BB&T (one in W-S and one in Greenville, SC) and were very pleased both times.

Mine is through SECU. Very low fees, no PMI, and they don’t sell your mortgage. I’ve been very pleased.

Thank you BC1960, roadpony and guyblue.

Any insight about BB&T vs SECU closing cost/fee?

Can't help with that, but its such a competitive market I can't imagine it varies much. And it shouldn't be difficult to obtain a "quote" from them and compare.
