Question Furniture Advice

Planning on doing a scouting trip to Furniture Land South at High point.

Can someone please point us to some low-end furniture brands/manufacturers that we should be focussing on when we get there ?

Thanks in advance !

I didn't really find anything low-end or even mid-range at Furniture Land South. Lots of nice stuff, but all very pricey, even after the discount that they promise.

We've had the best luck with quality furniture at RoomStore.

I would agree with Stoneone, the prices in high point are good for high end furniture, instead of 5k for a piece, you may pay 2500.......so, the high end you can get for lower. We found prices in raleigh to be better for the type of furniture we were shopping for.....more middle of the road kind of stuff!

Sure.

We were planning on looking at stuff in clearance center in FLS and see if we like anything there within our budget limits.

We had stores on glenwood ave in mind as well before we make the final choice.

Just a thought.... West of Winston-Salem there is a showroom that used to be called
Hendricks Furniture that I believe is now owned by and named Boyles... it is exit 170
...best help we ever got was from Tommy Cartner...we live in Winston Salem but our
friends from Chicago still come down once a year to browse and buy...

You may luck out at the FLS clearance center but you may want to check out Rooms To Go, Ashley Furniture & perhaps some of the rent-to-own places. As others have said FLS is fairly pricey.
