Hello. I am considering transferring with my job to N.C. from Baltimore. I look forward to a change in scenery and a fresh renewal on life. My husband and I are looking for a nice, safe, riendly, adaptable neighborhood to migrate into until we decide if/and where we want to buy. I would love all feed back....
A little about us: 40 year old, good income, empty-nesters, low key but like to go out once in awhile to eat, movie, etc. Thanks a bunch!

Greensboro has lots of nice neighborhoods, too many to even begin naming them. Where will you job be located? In general, the northwest quadrant of the city is the most desirable. Lots of nice neighborhoods around Friendly Shopping Center...Sunset Hills, Green Valley, Starmount, New Irving Park.

It might be fun to rent a condo in downtown...walk to restaurants, bars, museums, theater, minor league baseball, etc.

I'd be working at one of the post offices in Greensboro. A condo downtown sounds nice.

The great thing about Greensboro is the absence of horrible traffic. I lived in DC and I'm telling you. You will laugh at the thirty minutes that is rush hour.

Do you know which post office?
