Moving to Oak Ridge Area (Greensboro, Winston-Salem: homes, organic, living in)

I currently live in Virginia Beach, Va. I do Holistic Counseling for health and spiritual counseling. I am also a budding artist. From all that I see and hear, I feel I will love living in the Oak Ridge Area. Is it possible for me to continue my line of work there? It seems to be a peaceful place to be. Any suggestions? Thanks

I am a Holistic Health Practitioner living in the DC Metropolitan Area that will be relocating to the Triad area within the next 6 months as a result of my Husband's promotion. Initially, I was hesitant about the move, however as I began to research and visit forums such as this one, the hesitancy has turned into excitement. There is definitely an energy here conducive for Holistic Living. Winston-Salem Holistic Healthcare and Earthstar Spiritual Center are two facilities discovered thus far. Not to mention Bikram Yoga in Greensboro and Whole Foods in Winston Salem.

I mentioned the "branded' companies but really want to know more about the Organic Food Co-ops, Tai Chi Centers and other Holistic Services in the region? Thank you for allowing me to share the information I have. I look forward to receiving responses from others.

You can live in Oak Ridge and commute the 10 mins to Greensboro or about 10 mins to Kernersville. So it's a good location.

Seems to me, you both may want to try called Eclectic By Nature and see what Tavane can do for you. She's a client of mine and knows all the folks you may need to know.

Oakridge is a wonderful place...Homes are in the very upper end for the area... You have the basic's as far as shopping goes... Must place you will have to drive to High Point or Greensboro.... You will like it!
