Publix Super Markets does not mention dates for construction and the opening of the new distribution center in its news article "Governor Cooper Announces Up To 1,000 New Jobs in Guilford County." Long distance runs from the Dacula, Georgia, distribution center should continue for at least four years or until specific warehouses at the Greensboro distribution center open. The Greensboro distribution center could open sooner if Publix Super Markets speeds up the announcement and opening of additional store locations in North Carolina and Virginia.

As Publix Super Markets purchased land for its distribution center, the next step should be the design. The design process should take time.
