I have a 15 year old brother who has autism. He currently lives in VA where there are no available resources for children with autism. I live in High Point and I am considering moving in here with me to get a better education. Does anyone know about schools, therapists or doctors in this area? I have tried contacting TEACCH but they were not helpful at all! Wouldn't assist us because he doesn't live in NC. Help is greatly appreciated!

Default Re; Autism

Try Autism Society of North Carolina @ (1-800-442-2762) or jsmithmyer@autismsociety-nc.org FYI- High Point will hold an autism conference this month April 25 & 26 @ The Radison HighPoint. Also there is a summer camp directory for children with special needs, call 1-800-852-0042 so that one can be mailed to you. I hope this helps.
