I think building it off the freeway was very smart, just like when audi/VW moved from wendover and built state of the art dealerships right beside ferrari, aston, porshe and maserati, i40 is one of the most traveled super highways in the US, so they get a ton of exposure, so a 9 story glass tower filled with new cars is damn sure going to make passerbys very curious aswell as raise some eye brows.

when ferrari, aston, porsche and maserati were on wendover, not only was the building too small..but they didn't get anywhere near the traffic and sales they have now, infact, FCI was going to move to raliegh, but instead built there state of the art 50.000 square feet "exotic car mall" right off of i40 because it had potential. And now FCI is one of the biggest and most successful exotic dealerships in the country.

carvana was smart to build it not only near a populated buisness park, but a quickly growing commercial/residential sector right off the highway.. it's going to be very visible, since it's already on elevated land.

I haven't driven by there. How many stories will Greensboro have? It varies from city to city. Raleigh's has about 4 and Charlotte has 8.

Wow. If its 9 that means its the second one in the nation to reach 9 stories. The other one is in Arizona. Thats gonna look really cool at night. Its suppose to be lit up with neon blue. Wonder why Raleigh just got a 4 story one?

Here is the 9 story one in Arizona. This is just so cool. Right now there are only 15 in the country. Really cool Greensboro is among the first cities to get one. The rest are in larger urban markets

Cool video showing construction of a Carvana

Nice. With I-40 being below the grade where it stands, the building appears to be 10 to 11 stories tall.
