Hey all,

We are moving to Greensboro the beginning of May. Me being pregnant with Baby #2 and having a toddler, I'd like to take to the waters this summer. This is the summer my 3-year old should take her first swimming lessons, she is totally ready now.

Where can I find swim classes for the tots and toddlers? We will be living northside, off Pisgah church Rd. We don't have alot of money so if you know of a YMCA that would be a big help, too!

thanks everyone!
~ Angie

Default Swimming classes

Hi. Welcome to the area. My daughter will be taking lessons at the Y on Horse Pen Creek Rd. It's a really nice (kid friendly) pool. They are having a spring and summer swim school. You can call Katherine Page, the Aquatics Coordinator at 336-387-9628 for more information. The cost for members is $5 per Saturday and $10 for potential members per Saturday. They have beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Good luck and God Bless!!

Thanks AJ, I signed her up there! Turns out it was the closest Y to our apartments anyway...LOL People there seemed awfully nice.

It was $70 for June 2nd to June 12, 4 days a week. Ouch! I'm thinking of becoming a member so that I can work off the pounds. It's certainly time! when I signed up my daughter, she really didn't want to leave. I'm so glad she's ready to take this important step.
