Default Moving to Greensboro May5th, '08! So happy!

All the details for our move are finalized. The movers are coming on the 30th, loading on the 1st, and we all arrive at our new place on May 5th. Unpack for a week, and Hubby goes to work on the 11th.

EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!! I love that Harris Teeter and CVS are both down the street and that our apt complex has both a kiddie pool and a playground area.

I LOVE that people in Greensboro drive fast, but are so much more considerate than DC, NoVA area! I love that people are friendly and I love Magnolia trees! The radio stations are better in Greensboro than in DC, too. I don't know why this area is so sterile when it comes to music -?!

Is anyone else moving to G'boro this Spring or summer with kids???? I have a 3 year old and am expecting.

Goodbye rat race, hello slower pace! *twirl*

~ Angie

You will be a great addition to the Greensboro area.
I use to live nearby and one of the things I like about the area is it location.
If you want something different Winston Salem and High Point are just down the road .
And sort of in middle of the state so other areas are not that far to drive.
Greensboro has some real cool mom n pop type stores to explore.
I am glad you have posistive attitude and try to keep that attitude during your adjustment period.

Yay! Congratulations! I'm glad y'all are excited about moving here.

I lived in northern Virginia (Dale City) back in the mid to late 80s. Things were bad enough then. I can't imagine how bad they are now.

Thank you, thank you *takes a bow* I am excited and so busy this week. I have carted off SO MUCH stuff to the thrift store and to Freecycle, and the sad thing is, it doesn't look like I've even made a dent. I had no idea how much we'd acculumlated. Yikes! Still, it's good and every day we inch closer to the big day.
