This week I was in Highpoint area for my interview. I like the hospital but now I need to find a house. I am flexible up-to 5 /6 miles away from high point regional medical center with a good school district where I can easily re-sell my house. what are the top 3 schools, so that I can start my search. What should be my price range of the house, so that I am not stuck with the house.

Thanks.

I am friends with a couple of HP docs. They live in North HP close to Southwest schools. It’s more like 15-20 mins. Other than that Emery wood is your best bet. You could also look in Davidson County which I heard has lower taxes. That point of HP is right on the edge of the county.

Emery wood has old houses and I am not a big fan of them. I will look around Southwest Guilford high school. How is Jamestown ? which neighborhoods are safe.
