My wife and I got back earlier this week from our trip out to NC to check out areas and were really pleased. Now the one surprise while we were out there was discovering the Triad area when we drove from Raleigh to Boone to drive a little of the Parkway. We went out with the full intention of focusing our searching on the Triangle that this was a pleasant surprise. We were especially taken with Burlington, especially with the newer areas springing up along I-40.
Now, my real question on this is where are people living around Burlington or even Greensboro working? Do most work in Greensboro? Or do they largely make the commute into RDU everyday? I reallt loved this area and would like to focus there, but even more so if the jobs are there as well.
