Default Daycare in Greensboro

Hello everyone, we are moving up to the Greensboro area in the next couple of months and wanted to get some info on area daycares. We have a 12 month old little boy. Which one would you recomend? And how much a week does it cost? Are there long waiting lists? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I can't believe no one has responded to this yet *sound of crickets*

I sure would like to know the answer to this myself! I just got here 3 weeks ago, I'm studying full-time (online) and my 3year old is bouncing off the walls because she doesn't have any play friends yet. What to do???

Our 3 year old son attends Village Kids. He has been there almost 1 year now. We investigated several daycares in the High Point/Greensboro area before committing to Village Kids. It is pricier than some that we looked at, but we are very satisfied. (We pay $165 per week…very much a sticker shock after relocating here from Texas). The teachers and curriculum are wonderful, the surroundings are clean, and the kids seem to have a lot of fun. I am amazed at how much my son has learned since attending the school.

Here is the website, if you need further details:
Village Kids Child Development

Hope this helps. I guess it also depends on where you live or work in Greensboro as to whether VK is a viable option.

My friend runs the Sunshine House daycare in Greensboro. I trust her with my children. I would check them out if I needed childcare. Good Luck

Not sure what location you are in but there is a WONDERFUL daycare at Twin Oaks Church on Burlington Road. It is between Greensboro and Burlington but still in Guilford County. I am not sure of the price for an infant, last year when we were there it was $116/week for my 4 year old. I love the teachers, everyone is very friendly in my opinion. I am actually looking to move back there and if I do I will definately move where the boys can go there again.
