Default Nascar

Is there a sports bar or other venue in the Triad that will show the Sprint Cup All-Star race on Saturday night? The race is on the Speed Channel, which is not a standard channel on the local cable lineup.

The only sports bar I'm aware of is J.P. Looneys in Greensboro on the corner of Holden and Spring Garden. I don't know if they'll be showing the race, but you could probably call them to find out.

It's North Carolina (Nascar central), I can't imagine a sports bar not showing the race sat. If I can get it here in NJ it should be easy in NC.
If you can't watch it on TV take a ride to Charlotte, I am sure you can get a ticket from one of the roadside ticket vendors

I can't believe all local cable systems in the Piedmont Triad region of the state don't carry Speed TV as a basic cable channel like NBC/ABC/CBS. I had it in DC where the subscribers could care less.

Charter does on their "expanded basic" but Charter is not in the Triad. If you have Time Warner (Triad) you have to subscribe to their digital cable to get Speed Channel.
