I'm relocating to High Point in Mid June to accept a promotion at the company I work for. I'm a single woman in my mid twenties, with no children, so I have no worries about school districts and areas with children.
I managed to find a nice appartment right off Eastchester Drive, near John Wesley College. Their management office has been great in assisting with the relocation. While I know High Point isn't as busy as New York, I'd like to get an insight on what I can expect from the area I've chosen to live in, the receptiveness of High Point people towards newcomers and main attractions the locals look forward to throughout the year. Safety tips in the area would be useful as well. Thanks! ~j. |

J,
High point is a great area, It is one of the location in the US that uses the international home furniture showcase market, there and Vegas. It has everything to offer from night clubs to local bars to theaters, really depends on what you are looking for, Greensboro is right down the road from there, if you can not find it in HP it's in GSO. Hope everything works out for you, James |
