Woohoo, hubby and I are going out tonight! We want to go see "Ironman," but haven't visited any of the local theatres yet. I like them BIG and flashy for movies like these, but I also love the smaller ones that show foreign films or 2nd run flicks too. Which ones do you like? Palladium in High point seems like it could be pretty new, but the Four Seasons seems like it has a ton of showtimes. any advice?
thanks!~ Angie |

The Palladium in High point is really nice. Big spacious stadium seating. Lots of theaters. I haven't been to the Four Seasons cinema to compare it. Try the Palladium, you'll like it!

You're best best to see Iron Man in Greensboro would be Four Seasons. BTW, there are three threatres in Greensboro called "The Grande" in greensboro (different companies too) gets confusing.

Just depends on where you live. If you live in Greensboro proper, Four Seasons is the cheapest of the megaplexes, and it has Iron Man. Brassfield is decent, cheaper... but that is because it is an older movie theater without the stadium seating and all.
The one at Friendly Center is fine... but now, it's owned by Regal... so that it'll make it a little easier to distinguish from the other two "Grand" cinemas. Carousel is also very nice, and they are the place to go for independent and foreign films in Greensboro. Also, I would suggest classic movies at the Carolina Theatre on Greene Street. Also, try out our theatre and plays here in Greensboro. Triad Stage is wonderful, and also shows at Broach are nice. |
