why isn't there a cheesecake factory here in greensboro? i miss the grilled portobella mushroom sandwiches

With any chain restaurant that you would like to expand you need to write a letter not a email because they can be ignored to the corporate office

I think Charlotte may be the closest one.

The closest one I know of is in Durham, an hour down the road. It's in their mega-mall, the Streets at Southpoint. You'll see signs for it off of I-40. You can get to Southpoint from the NC 751 exit "Jordan Lake", and the following exit which will be labelled "Southpoint". Though the first exit has always been less busy in my attempts.

I've been there once, the only complaint I would make is that the prices were a bit high, and the wait was long. But they do have good food.

I've heard talks about them putting one here, eventually. It might have to wait until the economy rebounds. But Durham isn't too far away to enjoy!

I did hear rumors that the Shops at Friendly Center could have a Cheesecake Factory in the next phase. The shopping center already has the likes of PF Changs restaurant and the upscale Brooks Brothers clothing store.
