Default moving on

So I've lived in Asheville my whole life and have recently decided to move to Greensboro. I am excited and nervous. What is the scene like in Greensboro for a single female? This is one of the reasons I am leaving Asheville. As a professional woman it is hard to meet other single professionals in Asheville. I am hoping for a difference here with Greensboro. What are your thoughts? I am 29 years old.

Hmmmm...
Yes Weekly and the Rhino Times (local rags) both sponsor Business Networking events monthly, which is great for young single professionals. That's your best bet. Tons of people attend them.

Better stay in Asheville. There really isn't "any" scene in the Boro. No really good really good coffee shops, bars, clubs, or anything of he nature. Asheville has much more going on. I lived there for two years and the day I left was the best day of my life.

I moved here from a big city near the tip of the eastern United States...where there are plenty of professional people...most still single...and though I haven't found someone here in Asheville, I am happy. I guess you have to go where you are most happy...the rest will come after.

Actually, Greensboro is a nice town to meet people, there are arts and crafts, theatre, movie festival (excuse me+++++ CINEMA festivals) a bunch of street fairs during the year and several professional organizations. It is also friendly, easy to meet people, and with the Universities, an education is not unusual.
