Default Tower Homes at Southside (downtown)

Here are some photos of the "tower homes" These townhomes have 3 floors plus a rooftop patio. The price is for a unit ($216,990). Each unit has two bedrooms and two baths. The living room and kitchen are set up in an open floor plan. But they are very interesting and unique.

I love those ceilings!

It would have looked better if they had primarily used brick on the exterior.

Default Agreed

to each his own, but it has a jail like quality to it. BTW, is the Fisher Park area considered to be part of Irving Park? And being closer to downtown, is it considered safe, or iffy?

No, Fisher Park isn't part of Irving Park...although realtors really have been stretching that area for years. Fisher Park is on the other side of Wendover from Irving Park w/ Latham Park in between. It is definitely a neighborhood on its way back up.

I agree. Fisher Park is probabally the safest neighborhood that borders downtown. The land values are higher too. Aycock is ok but its still near areas that are perceieved not to be safe. With the College Hill Neighborhood, you have to put up with all the UNCG and Greensboro college students. I know some UNCG students (women) have been raped in that area. Stay away from Ole Asheboro. Its a pretty rough neighborhood.

Fisher Park has some nice big old homes

Yeah...I think the not-so-great areas I heard about were towards the east end of the neighborhood too
