Default Airport Noise

My family and I are moving to Summerfield or Oak Ridge from Orlando Florida. We are looking at a community east of Summerfield call Ridgewood.
I have recently found news about the airport expansion and we are worried that the airport noise could be bad in this area. Can anyone comment about the airport noise around Summerfield and Oak Ridge?

I really don't think there is an issue with that. In Oak Ridge, maybe but not in Summerfield.

Actually, Ridgewood is in line with the runway but out there you see the planes and barely hear them. I think that is about 5 miles out as the crow flies. from the edge of the runway. It is very smart of you to comsider Fed EX expansion and more flights....no way to know for sure but it seems far enough.
If you are looking for the family atmosphere of Ridgewood you could also check Lennox Woods...they also have pool tennis clubhouse... but no joining fee just HOA. Only owners are members different than Ridgewood opens to surrounding neighborhoods and gets crowded.
Lennox Woods is about 4 miles more down Lake Brandt Road....Houses in the 400's.
Oakridge-is more to the side of the runway but traffic on 68 is not fun.
