Archdale
My wife and I are looking for a home in Archdale. We have been living in Asheboro for the past 3 years. We like the small town feel of Archdale. Could anyone give me info on the city. You know the people, things to do, etc.

Hi Bill,
I noticed you had also posted an inquiry about the 27410 zip of Greensboro. Don't know if you've been in NC longer than your time in Asheboro, so I am going in here blind.
We lived in the Level Cross/Randleman area for about 6 years prior to moving to DE. Of the 3 areas mentioned, I would lean towards Archdale. That area is very conveniently located; easy access to I-85 and such. Yet you have the small town feel you referred to. From what I understand, if you have kids in school, the Archdale/Trinity schools are pretty good too.
Mary

One of the best hot dog joints is in Archdale. Soda Shop - I think is the name. When I travel to NC I always get over that way.
Sadly, I"ve not been able to eat a few times as they only accept cash...and being a traveler I don't carry cash.
