Red face Marketing?

Your input would be so appreciated. Thank you.
I don't know anything about marketing but I do know a girl in our neighborhood that's been having trouble finding a job. She's in medical marcom. I have no clue what that is but thought I'd share it with you. She's been out of work for a very long time and has been on numerous interviews. No one will pay her, either. Since I don't know what it is, I don't know if I was of any help or not...

Creative employment seems to be a little on the scarce side at least as far as advertising job openings. I've been watching for about 2 years and you just have to check everyday and when something comes up try and jump on it. I would guess that at a decent company an AD could expect 40k-50k. I've seen some designer jobs in the 28k-35k range as well. I've wondered if a small agency might be able to survive out there myself. There is no way to tell I think you just have to jump in. If you really want to make it happen, you'll find a way. Good luck.

Jobs are far and few and the couple call backs I have received wanted me to work for peanuts. I'm talking $12-$14 an hour. Now I am realistic and know that I will not be making NY money in NC but I just can't see surviving on $12 an hour. I am trying to stay positive and even looking at other avenues. I am even considering opening my own media company. I guess only time will tell. Good luck!

which boards do you look at? Thanks

Default Websites for Creative Jobs

Can anyone please tell us some trustworthy websites that advertise creative positions? We want to relocate, but not without jobs! Thank you.
