Default Mallard Landing / Salem Glen - Moving to Clemmons

Looking at a potential move to the W-S area and narrowed down Clemmons as a real strong choice due to location, schools, houses, etc.. Was looking online at houses in Mallard Landing and Salem Glen and just wondered what the neighborhoods are like or if there are any others that people would suggest.

Other questions:
Temporary housing, as we will need to sell our house before buying something there. We would love to be able to rent a house in Clemmons while we wait.

We are currently in Chesterfield, MO (close to St. Louis) and have a great family oriented neighborhood with kids. We currently have fantastic neighbors who we trust and the area is very safe. We have a 3.5 yr old and one on the way.

Thx!

Even though Mallard Landing has a Clemmons mailing address it is in the community of Arcadia realistically. Salem Glen is on the outskirts of Clemmons. We looked at Salem Glen several years ago. It depends on what you want. What are you looking for in a community. Salem Glen has a club house pool and golfcourse. Mallard Landing has none of those.
