Default how is this area for living?

I am considering a house near country woods lane and fleming road 27410. I wonder how is the area?

Also it is built by Jurney homes, what people feel about their construction quality?

And finally, it is right next to the airport, how much is that an issue? How much is noise problem?

Nice area, convenient to the shops around the Cardinal.
Jurney builds a pretty good home- make sure you have buyer representation.
Check the location against the Fed Ex Noise Contour- https://www.flyfrompti.com/gee/doc/ExecSumm_nov2001.pdf and make sure no planes will be flying over you! In that area you will get a little air traffic but if you're in the contour, it's a whole different ball game.

yourhometriad, thank you so much for the post. I am trying to make sense of pdf you linked and having hard time. It talks about 65dba contour but has so many optional designs. I am not sure which was finally implimanted. And even with that how to find if the location is withing the contour or not.

I see two areas - one in red and one in green. I would imagine red circled area is not preferable. The area where house is built is not within it but not too far of it either. Not sure what to make of it.

I live in zip code 27410 for past 4 years and have been very happy. I've been very happy with Claxton Elementary my children are loving school and have met great kids in the area. I am just off of Horse Pen Creek and have no issues with the airport noise.

Thanks newcomer for posting. I plan to visit the area after easter weekend. I had quite a read here.
http://www.ptipart150.com/Updates_Ju..._June_2008.pdf

It seems people are very upset with FEDEX hub and noise during the night FEDEX planes would make. It also seems clear that it will impact northeast corridor of the airport.

I loved the area but I sure cant have a home where I am afraid that my 2 yr old is going to have hard time sleeping.
