Farmer's Market - Fairgrounds in Winston-Salem (houses, prices, best)

I visited the farmer's market this past weekend and enjoyed it, so I wanted to pass along the details to any of you who haven't been lately.

Winston Salem Retail Farmers Market
Dixie Classic Fairgrounds
421 West 27th St.
Winston Salem, NC

Typically open Saturdays 6a-1p
Easter weekend they will be open Friday/Saturday 6a-1p

There were locally made crafts (baskets, windchimes, bird houses, bird feeders, goat soap), goat milk soap, honey, country ham, eggs, plants, freash cut flowers, spring fruits/veggies, etc.

I'd get their earlier for the best selection, they start packing up once they've sold out.

Thanks for the post Erin! I have visited the Fairgrounds market a number of times, but I haven't been lately. I hope everyone who reads this will get out there and support our local farmers. The quality and prices can't be beat!
