Default Westford or Ashbury Place or Salem Glen areas of Clemmons

Can anyone provide info on these subdivisions. We will be looking at homes in these areas and have 3 small children. We want a kid friendly area with a close community feel. Thank you.

I've never heard of Westford...perhaps you meant Clemmons West?

Asbury Place and Salem Glen are both very nice neighborhoods. Asbury is closer to the village and to I-40 than Salem Glen--SG is maybe 3 miles from the village center, while Asbury is about a half mile. Houses seem to be similar in size/quality...large brick homes with nice yards. Also, SG has the adjacent golf course, while Asbury is next to Tanglewood Park.

I know Waterford is a subdivision that seems to have a bit older homes. We are looking for neighborhoods with lots of young children. We are outside constantly up North even in bad weather. Do you find people are just as outdoorsy in the area. ?

Yes, all three of the neighborhoods you mentioned have lots of kids. I'd say people spend a lot of time outdoors, although the heat can be oppressive in the summer so often the neighborhood pools become the center of the action.
