Could someone tell me what affordable housing options there in High Point or Winston Salem something income based would be good for me at this point in my life. I have 2 kids in college in Greensboro so I don't want to move there, just be kinda close. I have been laid off but I do get unemployment. There are absolutely no jobs here in my city. Last time I checked, were were at the 14% unemployment mark. Although, I can afford a big expensive place to live I am a decent, hardworking person. I don't use drugs or drink, not knocking people who do but I just want to be someplace that is not rowdy. I will need to move by July 1 as my lender is not willing to work with me on a Modification (HBSC) they just keep giving me the runaround
. Also, I will need to be closer to my college kids because my car note is looking kinda shaky too. LOL. Any info would be so helpful. thanks.
