Hey Ya'll,
LGBTQ+ 30 gender *****. Looking for sensory friendly neighborhoods. I am moving from Asheville (Leicester) -- farm country and I love it. UNCG graduate degree program MFA Studio Art--- so crunchy.
Any recommendations for spaces that are affordable, ***** friendly, safe, and in nature?
Lots of light.

What is "*****"? Sensory friendly? Lots of light? In nature? Affordable?
More specifics would be helpful. What exactly is your budget? Rent or buy? How long of a drive from UNC-G?

Thank you!
LGBTQ+ (q is not allowed to be typed on this form)
Sensory friendly--- clean air, water, light, personal space, green space, able to look out windows without seeing other people/homes
(no loud constant noise, nosy neighbors, bright traffic lights or similar, free from toxic factories -- ex. duke)
Budget 600- 900 @ most 1st year rent, 2nd year buy
15/20 min @ most to UNCG

I don't know that you're going to find somewhere to live within 20 minutes of UNC-G where you can be guaranteed to look out the window and not see your neighbors house. You'd have to be well out of the city for that...a small house out in the country...is that really what you want? If so, maybe look in the Pleasant Garden area south of Greensboro.
No nosy neighbors? No one can provide specific guidance on that.

You're going to have to let go of some things on your list and would recommend the "nosy neighbor" aspect given window blinds work well in eliminating sight lines and for privacy, as well as the ability to see other homes which would probably put you out of budget and well past 15-20 minutes from UNCG. Check out the SW section of the city where you'll find some options in price range that are fairly safe by/large.
