Thanks Flipster! Actually I think I meant to say West Salem, not West End. That's different right? I was looking at a block or two east of Broad, both North and South of Washington Park. I couldn't find Renolda that you mention.

I've also heard good things about Ardmore, I will look at that too. I did hear that Washington Park has a dog park so being within walking distance in West Salem is nice - and I don't know if Salem Lake has swimming for dogs?

West Salem is not as good as Ardmore or West End. It's more run-down and more of the homes are rentals. To me, it's too iffy. It may improve once the baseball stadium is built. Time will tell.

Reynolda Rd starts at the most northern part of Hawthorne Rd. Look at the north border of Hanes Park. Reynolda rd homes are pricey and are part of the Buena Vista neighborhood (pronounced liked it's spelled).

Smile I just moved to the big WS!

House prices are great in Winston....Not sure where you are moving. We just got a house in Meadowlands near Walburg School....The market is right and the rates are low. A lot of builders are selling low right now because of the market and you can get in cheaper than normal...Good Luck!
