Nice Area's for a family Near GSO Airport (Oak Ridge, Northwest: apartment, rentals)

I may be forced to relocate to GSO for my job. I have four daughters and am looking into what are the better neighborhoods close to the airport with good schools, low crime etc.

How much are you looking to spend?

Where will you be working? Do you need to be close the airport?

We are looking to spend no more than $1000 a month.

I actually will be working at the airport, and prefer to be close if possible.

We are in need of at least 3 bedrooms, and dog friendly.

Apartment or house would work, as long as it is in a low crime area with good schools.

There are many rentals in the Cardinal area that may work. Definitely check Craigslist and look for the phrase Northwest Area or NW Schools.
