Well, this was some time ago (maybe they don't make the cookies themselves there anymore)...but yes...ones that were malformed or too thick or broken. I like the spicy ones the best...now you've made me hanker after some!
Hanes has a cookie tour and they end up giving you one of every flavor. They make them there by hand, with people hand packing the cookie containers. They sell the broken cookies too. I have had them from both Winkler's and Hanes. The only difference for me is I got to try all of the flavors at Hanes.
I went to Mrs hanes and it was nearby which was great.
I didnt do the tour or ask about it.
I could see through the glass windows and that was fine.
I did go to old salem but Im glad I got my cookies from Mrs Hanes or I would have to wait on all the tourists
