Default Cricket's Nest!

Just wanted to let everyone in on this little gem. I've driven by it many times, but never took the time to stop in. Finally did over the weekend, and it is well worth a visit. It's a craft store, and everything is made by Forsyth County senior citizens. They have a wide variety of items, including quilts, bird feeders, clocks, jewelry, ornaments, pottery, wooden crafts, and many other things. I was seriously blown away by the quality, creativity, and extremely low prices.

It's located on Country Club Rd. in Winston-Salem, across from South Fork Elementary School. Here's their web site, with directions:

I love that place! I'm always able to find a unique gift there, and especially like knowing that I bought something that was made locally. It's A LOT bigger of a place than it looks like from the outside. I usually end up walking around at least twice and I'm sure that I've missed seeing some things when I leave. I believe that this past Saturday was their holiday open house, so it should be stocked with great holiday gift ideas!
