relocating to the area--place to live (Greensboro, Salisbury: good schools, ratings, distance)

Hi,
My husband recently got a job in Salisbury. I am currently applying for a job around Salisbury, and it seems that I will most likely find one either in Winston Salem or Greensboro. We have two kids grade 7 and 1, and school system is very important to us. I am trying to find a place with reasonable driving distance from both of our work, or at least close to one of us with excellent school system. Any suggestions will be appreciated!
