Hi there - we are looking to buy a twin bed for our toddler and need a reputable/inexpensive place to buy them. Any suggestions would be great - thanks! (We are in Winston Salem)

We love to shop at Smart Buy in Welcome, NC. Not far from W/S at all. There is also a good store in Kernersville but I cannot think of the name of it right now.

Tony's Used Merchandise has reasonable prices and many options. I work here part-time. We have two locations to serve you.

535 E. Clemmonsville Rd. Monday Friday 9am until 5pm
Winston-Salem, N.C. 27107 Saturday 9am until 4pm
(336) 602.2782

6319 University Parkway Monday Friday 10am until 6pm
Winston-Salem, N.C. 27105 Saturday 9am until 4pm
(336) 377.3321

We have new furniture as well as used. Mattresses are the same new or used and sanitized. Call ahead for inventory questions and prices. I hope this helps!

I would rather get something like that at Sears than the average mattress store. Not sure if Costco has mattresses, but Sears or a big furniture chain might have a better selection. Of course, anything near a mall is going to have a higher price, but with Sears at least you can check on-line. Then on the other hand, once you have a ballpark price, there could be some real bargains right now at the off brand stores.

There are two places on Market Street in Greensboro that deal in new, affordable mattresses. If you ever get this way.

I recommend seeing Grady at the Mattress Shoppe on Straford. It is next to the music store. He is local and that is his only store. He is very knowledgable and has great prices.
