Hello all, my family and I will be moving to the W-S area soon and I am looking for a job in the medical billing/collections office management field {25 years experience}. I have mainly worked for doctors but did work at a local hospital for some time. I have been looking on monster, careerbuilder, indeed and yahoo.com and need to know if there is any local websites available. Also if anyone is aware of any headhunders in the area that would be great as well.

Thanks and have a great day!

Hello...it's pretty rough in Winston-Salem right now job-wise. You didn't mention Craigslist in your post...you could try the Winston-Salem page there. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Twitter or not, but A LOT of jobs get thrown around via Twitter streams. It would be worth your time to create an account just to have access to these streams. As far as other local job sites....I'd have to do the same thing you would and that's type some keywords into my favorite search engine: "winston salem jobs" for example. I wish you the best of luck, and I hope this helps!

In addition to phlebotomy and nurse assistant, these are the jobs that the laid-off workers are being shunted into because the turn around time is 6 months or less and "you can ALWAYS get a job in the medical field".

I would suggest doing a Twitter search for either "winston salem" or "winston salem jobs". Hold on, and I'll see if I can find you a link...

Twitter

There ya go! Remember, these come in real time, so scroll a ways to get a few days' worth of listings.
Check the local hospital websites too...

I wish you the best!
