Okay all you North Carolinians now is your chance to shine. Can you give me some ideas on things to do and see in your state during college spring break in the end of March first week of April?

Hi would you like to spend it along the coast or mountains?
The coast you could go to the Outer Banks and since Seldovia is
a coastal town you might like to go deep sea fishing. You can hang glide or
check out the many light houses
North Carolina Light Houses Photos
check out my photos of the area

The mountains you could start in Boone and drive down to Asheville on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Check out the cute mountain downtown of Boone and visit Chimney Rock.
Then ride down and stopping at the many waterfalls .
Stop take a hike and enjoy the view on Grandfather Mountain &
Mount Mitchell (highest mountain east of the Mississippi river)
You can also go trout fishing Hotspots For North Carolina Trout
Last down the parkway you can wrap it up in Asheville and go to Biltmore
(the Vanderbilt Mansion)

Are you in Seldovia currently? if so you could direct message Dark of the Moon and she will assist
in moving this thread to the state forum if you like.
When you visit feel free to come on here and tell us about your trip or share pictures
Have fun.

The fishing on the Outer Banks picks up a bit during March. Boats abound!

oh so many choices! Asheville and Boone in the Mountains. Outer Banks, Nags Head, Wrightsville Beach, Oak Island, North Myrtle Beach along the coast. Heck a visit to our state capitol is in order. Or even a trip to Charlotte (Ikea and Concord Mills Outlets along the way!). So it really depends on what you feel like doing. Personally, I'd head to Atlantic Beach, where you are a short distance from Morehead City and Beaufort and the NC Aquarium. Plus... Sanitary Restaurant!
