Default Southern Greensboro?

I am looking to relocate to the area and have an opportunity to use a relative's home in southern Greensboro for a while. Does anyone know much about the area around Holden Road and Vandalia Road? How would it be for a family of 5, young kids, etc. ? Is it relatively quiet?

Thanks for any help!

I wouldn't say it's quiet. It's not crazy like Wendover though. So that's good. The Food Lion there is kind of scuzzy. I prefer the one on Groometown, which is very close.

Darden Rd. crosses Holden not far from Vandalia. There's been a recent string of break-ins there. One family had the ashes of their dead little boy stolen. Why nothing of value was stolen is beyond me. This family has only lived there a short while. A week or so, I think. I hope whoever's doing this is caught soon.

Anyway, there are worse areas in Greensboro. But there are also better areas.

I wish y'all the best.

Doesn't your relative know the area? What do they say?
