I have recently gotten a job in High Point and am used to living in rural areas (I'm from Alabama). I do not mind a 30-45 minute commute. Which towns/areas near High Point should I look for a house to buy. Thanks for your time and help.

Additionally there are rural areas outside the NW (Forsyth county) area of the city. You can also look into Randolph & Davidson county as well.

I agree with the last post - depending on where your job is taking you in High Point, look in Davidson & Randolph.
