I am relocating to the Triad area and am interested in finding a historic home. Any suggestions? What about the Sunset Hills neighborhood in Greensboro?

Fisher Park, Aycock, and College Hill are the officially designated Historic Districts in Greensboro, but you can find older homes also in Glenwood, Lindley Park, Old Asheboro and in Sunset Hills. I live in Sunset Hills so I'm kind of partial to that neighborhood. Why an older home? Are you looking for Character, a certain style, or just something close to shops and downtown? Happy to help if you need it!
Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback.

Yourhometriad,
I love older homes for the character and charm. I've foudn they are also usually located near shops, cafes, etc.

I will also need access to good schools and a neighborhood that is safe. Sometimes older homes are in areas that have fallen into disrepair.

Why do you like Sunset Hills best?
